Hanoi Artists Non-Profit Exhibition Highlights the Beauty of Love

Visual artist Tran Quang Dai has recently revealed a captivating interactive installation art piece inspired by the splendid Co Loa Citadel. This historical marvel located in Hanoi has a rich heritage dating back to the third century BC. Dai’s artwork is a mesmerizing blend of innovative technology and historical references, creating a unique and immersive experience for viewers. Through his installation, Dai pays homage to the magnificent Co Loa Citadel while pushing the boundaries of traditional art and embracing modern, interactive elements. The result is a captivating visual experience that transports viewers into the rich tapestry of history and culture.

The artwork showcases an array of meticulously crafted heart-shaped cushions, thoughtfully arranged in a captivating labyrinth-like formation. This visually captivating display serves as a metaphor, inviting viewers to reflect upon the tenderness and vulnerability of the human heart, as well as the intricate and perplexing nature of love itself. Through its intricate design and symbolic representation, the artwork captures the complexities and uncertainties that often accompany matters of the heart, resonating with viewers on a deep emotional level.

The exhibition “Love Is All” is currently on display at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon in HCM City. The exhibition will be open until June 20 and admission is free for all visitors.

“Love Is All” is a captivating series of exclusive activities featuring artists from various backgrounds. Each artist embarks on a unique creative journey, delving into the intricate layers and undeniable allure of love, the most fundamental of emotions. Through this series, viewers are invited to experience the complexity and sheer beauty of love in all its forms.

Through this exhibition, I aim to evoke a meaningful conversation between my expressive paintings and the viewer. My intention is to provoke contemplation on the essential aspects of human existence, namely happiness, health, and satisfaction.”

In addition to the pillow maze, the exhibition offers a wide range of paintings that delve into various aspects of love.

“I firmly believe that my artworks are meant to be felt and experienced with the heart,” he emphasized. With this in mind, his goal is to create a multi-sensory encounter that captivates viewers and prompts them to ponder their own intimate encounters with love.

All artwork will be generously donated to the Operation Smile Vietnam Fund in order to provide support and assistance to children in Vietnam. This noble cause aims to ensure that every child in Vietnam has access to the necessary surgical care they require. By contributing our artwork to this fund, we are making a positive impact on the lives of these children and helping to bring smiles back to their faces.

Previously, Quang Dai’s art therapy exhibition “How Are You These Days?” had a successful run with 13 shows in Vietnam and Thailand. Notably, he became the first Vietnamese artist to have a solo exhibition at MOCA Bangkok, the renowned Bangkok Museum of Contemporary Art. His work was also recognized and featured on Nowness Asia, a global platform that highlights interesting projects related to Asian culture and art.
