Photo: VFF A ceremony was held on May 13 to launch a programme to provide housing support to poor households in the northern province of Dien Bien, which aims to build 7,000-8,000 houses for the needy in the locality and some Northwestern provinces within one year. That is the goal of the program to build great solidarity houses for Dien Bien province launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF). At the launching ceremony in Hanoi, the organizing committee awarded VND 200 billion (USD 8.5 million) to support the first phase to build 4,000 houses.
