Gold-plated roses prove a hit on Valentine’s Day

The roses feature 24K gold and are sold for around VND2.5 million to VND3 million each. Hoang Minh Huy, a shop owner on Xa Dan street in Dong Da district of Hanoi, says his shop receives around 10 to 15 orders of gold-plated roses per day on average, proving that roses are among the most popular gifts for the occasion. Roses are the most selected flower by men as a gift for their lovers during Valentine’s Day. Each gold-plated rose is 22 cm in length and is plated with 24K gold. This gold-plated rose costs VND2.5 million. Craftsmen spend around one to two months on completing this product.
